The challenge

Every semester, academics receive their Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) results, based on student survey responses. But how do you make the most out of this feedback? It’s one thing to know that students liked (or didn’t like) your content, but another thing to know where to turn when trying to improve it.

Our solution: Ask Charlie

In response to this requirement, we created a platform called ‘Ask Charlie’ that combines student evaluation of teaching results with unit of study information (e.g. class size, discipline, and assessment modes) to display personal recommendations for teaching resources.

Educators can attach notes to resources, bookmark them later for reading, and discuss them with the community.
